The second in our series of luggage and tech reviews.
This video, recorded at our studio in the UK, discusses the Verb Contact Medium brief from Briggs & Riley.
Designed to be perfect for 15″ Apple Macbooks, it provides additional storage for a tablet, files, and other essentials.
As you’ll see from the review, Briggs & Riley have packed this bag with a good number of pockets, organisation options and clever features, and include their renowned lifetime warranty. As I mention in the video, this is a great low-cost introduction to the Briggs & Riley brand, offering a light and very capable option for work use. The pricing reflects the low to mid-range position in their range that this bag occupies, with slightly lighter-weight nylon that you’d see in the Baseline or @Work ranges. The plus side of this is that the bag is lighter to carry as well, and adds very little unnecessary weight to a Macbook or iPad Pro. The feature’s they’ve included are good at the price, I just wish that it offered a little more in the way of padding – both for the laptop itself and on the carrying strap.
I rate the bag as 4☆/5. It’s a good all-rounder, and is well-priced for what is a premium luggage brand, particularly when the lifetime guarantee is considered.
The Verb Contact Medium brief is currently available from Amazon US for $189, and in the U.K. for £125.30.
