BA Holidays offer two free hotel nights in Europe when booking transatlantic flights

This is a useful deal for those based in the US or Canada.

BA HolidaysThis week, British Airways Holidays are offering 2 free hotel nights in Europe with the purchase of transatlantic flights.

The offer runs from the 1st -8th December 2014, and is valid for travel between December 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015 with airfare and any additional charges paid for in dollars (US or Canadian).

As usual, there are some terms that need to be understood – here are just the key ones:

  • The 2 free nights hotel accommodation is based on double, triple or quadruple occupancy at participating hotels for a maximum of 2 free nights, which must be taken on consecutive nights at the same hotel.  Single occupants are entitled to a maximum of 1 free night at participating hotels.
  • Only selected hotels qualify for the offer: London: Rembrandt, Royal National, President, Hilton London Wembley, Aloft London Excel, Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum. Paris: Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, Golden Tulip Little Palace, Paris Eiffel Cambronne Rome: Oxford, Morgana, Kennedy Barcelona: Meson Castilla, Gallery Hotel, H10 Marina Barcelona Edinburgh: Holiday Inn Edinburgh, Fraser Suites, Holiday Inn Edinburgh City West Dublin: Ashling Hotel, Aspect Hotel Parkwest, Doubletree by Hilton Dublin – Burlington Road Glasgow: Thistle Glasgow, Holiday Inn Express Glasgow – City Centre Riverside, Hilton Garden Inn Glasgow City Centre Manchester: The Portland Thistle Manchester, Palace Manchester Berlin: Amano, Park Inn by Radisson Belin-Alexanderplatz, H10 Berlin Ku’damm Madrid: Holiday Inn Madrid Piramides, Best Western Carlos V, Celuisma Florida Norte.  This is a decent list, though not ground-breaking in terms of breadth or quality.
  • Avios can be earned for purchase of British Airways products at standard rates only (i.e. only on the spend, not on the free nights).

As usual, if the offer fits a trip that you already had planned then it could be perfect for you. Would this deal be the sole reason you take a trip? Possibly not!

There are separate landing pages for US and Canadian travellers.
